Basic Dragons

Basic dragons are what all dragons start off as, just their natural in-game appearance with exceptions for a few minor tweaks for personalization! Make sure to check the Dragonarium to find your dragon. If theres anything you're unsure about, feel free to ask or check the FAQ and search Design.

This allows for:
- Any eye or flesh color (inside mouth, paws, etc)
- Minor color shifts (See example)
- Additional subtle patterns that cover less than 20% of the body and are lighter/darker colors of their existing palette. (Different colored patterns/ major additions more than 20% require a Rune Scroll)
- Minor tweaks to shapes for stylization, but not adding anything new. (Changing wing shapes, adding/removing body parts, or other major design changes require a Mutation Potion)
- Minor variations to external design elements such as a tree dragon having different shaped leaves or a moss dragon having different types of moss or mushrooms on them
- Scars, injuries, and simple prosthetics
- Max height for dragons is 25 Feet without traits

Example

Enchanted Dragons

Inspired by the Enchanted trait from Dragonvale world, this now allows your dragon to have a completely new color palette! You can use inspiration from the natural appearing enchanted dragons, or make up your own!

This allows for:
- Allows for major changes of colors
- More major variations of patterns that still fit its theme/species (See FAQ 23 for examples) Unrelated patterns such as a porcelain dragon suddenly having jaguar spots may require a Rune Scroll

Example

Rift Dragons

Unlike the in-game rift dragons, their new element can completely change how the dragon looks rather than just texture changes! As long as you have an explaination for how something would fit into that element, feel free to get creative!

This allows for:
- Changes colors based on their new element
- Additional design traits that fit their new element, such as plant adding vegetation, light adding bioluminescence, dark adding a shadowy wisped texture, etc. This also works for adding a rift trait of an element they already possess to push thoughs features further
- Minor anatomy changes
- Up to 3 rift elements max (added seperately)

Example

Mutated Dragons

Ever wished a dragon just looked a bit different or had/didn't have wings? then this is the trait for you! With potions you can make a dragon that deviates from its normal design while still being able to recognize what species it originally is. This can be used to achieve old concept versions of a dragon. Only two mutations can be added per potion

This allows for two of the following:
- Changing their body type to be more like an eastern dragon, wyvern, or western dragon
- Changing the shape of existing limbs/horns
- Changing a scaled dragon into a furred dragon, & vise versa
- Adding or multiplying limbs, wings, horns, eyes etc
(See FAQ 24 for examples)

Example

Fused/Hybrid Dragons

Not to be confused with your normal in-game hybrids, this allows for dragons with fused design elements made up of two or three different species!

This allows for:
- Any mix of colors between the species
- Any mix of patterns between
- Any mix of anatomy between
- Minor design additions that would make sense for them to have
